Raise the roof

Well, alright. Just under two weeks later, we have a roof over our heads again. Big thanks to Matt at First General and to Jay and Red (and crew) from Premier Construction.

Last night we almost got hit by another thunderstorm -- hail and 60 mph winds were reported in the county. But it never rained at the house, which is good, since the roof wasn't fully shingled yet.

The construction started before 6:00 each of the last three days. Until today. the high in Augusta was over 102°, so they wanted to get working before it became too hot.
