My interest is in tracing the history and meaning of the "Rickard" name. From my research so far I believe the name appears in the Doomsday Book in the UK and its origins are Nordic. I was just wondering whether you had looked into your family history at all and if so whether you could share my interest in the history and meaning of the name.
